She worked as a mid-day meal worker (cook) at the school. The accused has been identified as Rakesh Kumar alias Monu, son of Nikka Ram, a resident of Chanaur. Police have arrested the accused. Sarita Devi, the school's center head teacher, said that upon hearing the students' screams, she came out and saw a man repeatedly attacking Sulochana Devi with a sickle.
