Emerald Lake View Point 🌊 Witness the breathtaking "Upper View" of Emerald Lake where the turquoise waters meet the lush green slopes of the Silent Valley. We captured some of our favorite drone shots here, showcasing the vast tea plantations that carpet the entire mountain range. Pro Tip: Great spot for drone pilots, but be mindful of the winds! 2. Kundah Dam 🏗️ A marvel of Indo-Canadian engineering, this dam is a hidden gem tucked away in the Bikketti village. The drive to the dam features 43 hairpin bends with stunning views of the Getti Valley and the hydroelectric powerhouses. Craigmore Tea Estate 🍃 Step into the world of premium high-grown tea at the historic Craigmore Plantations, established back in the late 1800s. We walked through the rolling green gardens and learned about the production of their famous Orthodox Black and Green teas. Mango Tree Bungalow, Devashola 🏡 Our home for the night is this charming, rustic 100+ years old bungalow nestled within 650 acres of private tea estates 5000+ft above sea level. It feels like stepping back in time with its colonial architecture, cozy fireplaces, and a garden that overlooks the entire valley. At night, you can even see the distant lights of Coimbatore flickering below the mountains.
