This Yamaha UX piano is a beautiful piano both in looks and playability. Built as an upgrade to the ever popular 'Yamaha U3' it has some unique better qualities that really make this an excellent buy. This was one was manufactured in approximately 1980 at the Yamaha factory in Japan. It is in an lovely 'Polished Ebony' cabinet with a nice slope to where the key fall lid rests back; this adds an extra element of elegance and attention to detail that you just do not see on other pianos. It has longer bass strings to give an extra depth and harmonics to the overall sound. It has an 'X' bracing on the back enabling a longer tuning stability, better sustain and added tonal harmonics. This piano externally is in great condition with no significant marks just usual dusting and general wear & tear. Internally I can only describe this as looking excellent. The key action is very responsive and I think this piano is incredible value for money and plays beautifully.
