We didn’t just visit the Great Wall… We stayed there 🇨🇳 | Family Travel Day 5

Today we visited the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most scenic and family-friendly sections of the Great Wall of China, located about 75km from Beijing. After lots of research, we chose Mutianyu for its restored watchtowers, fewer crowds, and incredible mountain views. Instead of a rushed day trip, we stayed overnight inside the scenic area which meant less travel, a warmer pace, and waking up with views of the Wall itself. We took the chairlift up to Watchtower 6, explored the Wall between towers, soaked in the winter atmosphere, and finished the day watching the sun dip behind the mountains. Cold, windy, breathtaking and absolutely worth it.
