The video is shot in one or two takes, raw, without mixing or editing, and only a simple mic (or cell mic) is used in the process. This initiative aims to quickly learn a song, allowing the student to record simplified covers, without a series of takes or an extensive training routine, in addition to being a great tool to observe the level of perception of students and see their evolution as musicians. The most accurate covers (using instrument scores) still play an important role in my method as they are responsible for taking amateurs to new heights! But I honestly believe that sometimes students deserve an unorthodox routine of musical practice in their lives to keep them engaged and motivated. It is what it is.
