I recently found a tape with telephone intercept recordings and other various messages. It was made probably around 1995-96 since there are clearly recorded 2600Hz wire trunks, drum announcement machines, crossbar tandems and step-by-step local offices. Unfortunately the dialing part of the calls is completely ommited to save (in those days not really cheap) tapes. Its been 30 years.... The slideshow pictures are mainly of a large DID crossbar PBX office that is still a part of PSTN as of 2025 (!). I will cover this CO in my future videos.
