It's always difficult to understand that in order to become good at something, you have to continue doing that over and over and over again, and maybe then, after you have done it hundreds, if not thousands of times, you might be good at it then. With that being said, my students and even I, at times, have a difficult time understanding and seeing that. This week, my students are dealing with the fact that they don't consider themselves good at writing, while I am dealing with not feeling like a good enough teacher to give feedback on their papers.
