It's hard to get a decent deal on a truck these days, especially when all the used trucks in my area are rusted from winter driving. Because I needed a car quickly, I picked up this 2010 Toyota Matrix. It is not glamorous in any way, but for now, it is good on gas and reliable. It has a 5-speed manual transmission that feels like a bag of gravel, no cruise control, and heated mirrors lol. Anyways, it looked like it had been sitting for a while, as there was a mouse nest under the engine cover when I brought it home. I changed the front brakes right away to get it to pass safety and wasn't able to film it, but I wanted to take care of a few other things, seeing as I knew little about the maintenance of this vehicle. I changed the oil, air filter, transmission gear oil, sparkplugs, and cleaned the throttle body. On start-up, she seems to idle a little high, but will eventually come down to between 600 - 800 rpms. I also cleaned the MAF sensor to rule out any issues.
