We bar hop across Isla Mujeres. This is the uncut full version of our day excursion to the island. The short version is on our RIU Palace Kukulkan Cancun day 2 video. We cut so much out to that video to get it under 30 minutes and include some Resort stuff. The Final Cut of cut Isla Mujeres turned out to be 30 minutes on its own. So there’s extra footage we hope you enjoy. Just mostly us being silly. In the video we mention we will include information on the golf cart rental. Well they may change the vendor they use so not sure if they will offer the same one we used. The best thing to do is rent it at the ferry before you board. (After you purchase your ticket) go to the entrance to the pier where they scan your ticket. The booth is right there. Also my wife said we F****d up. Lol. When I brought up turning in the golf cart. Well, we missed the ferry because we didn’t know the times. So make sure you know the ferry schedule. Also, it was easy to walk to the rental place. However, it was not easy getting back in the golf cart. The streets are set up to keep you going north only and if you turn right they force you to only take lefts which keeps you going north. I believe this design is to force you to tour the entire market area. It was not possible to drive back to the rental place unless we used a gps map to take us there. We didn’t have address and the name wouldn’t show. We finally remembered a restaurant right next to it and used that to map it. It required us to go back south a ways and come back north through the back streets otherwise there was no way to get there using the Main Street in front of the ferry. So, be aware of the ferry schedule and where your rental place it. Pin it or get the address and save it on your gps so it can take you back when you are ready. We never had this issue before because we always rented right across the street from the ferry. It’s convenient but pricey. Cheaper prices as you go further inward. So it’s your choice, hour or for the day. I’m sticking with day rental just going to take my own advice! Thanks for watching! We love you all and we love the beach! 🏖️
