I also go over some technical aspects of lighting used and light in general. The results were very surprising and you can clearly see the winner. I would not have guessed what the outcome was by any amount of reading on the subject of plant science. The experiment was a success and worth it. There was no difference in the amount of flowers produced under either light. however, the white LED started producing flowers in more abundance first. As a side note, if you would like to use red/blue LED as non-supplementary lighting, it would be ok for leafy greens like herbs or lettuce. There was little difference in leaf growth between the 2 lights, but if you are consuming it, the quality of it may vary depending on spectral output. There will be another grow with this setup and I will be making another video showing PAR readings so subscribe if you would like to see more. I do this for my own benefit and knowledge and it costs me money, but making a video only costs me time so I hope this is helpful to some. I know if im looking for information, a video may only have one part within it that I find useful so I hope if you don't find this video helpful in its entirety, you at least get something out of it that you were looking for.
