Community outreach and education has always been paramount to our mission, be it for fruit, vegetables or now Hemp and CBD. It is important to us that our communities and neighbors understand that we are NOT growing Marijuana to get people high. Although it is technically the same plant, CBD Hemp only contains trace amounts of Tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient of Marijuana and causes intoxicating effects. The ultra-beneficial Cannabinoid we are focusing is called Cannabidiol and does not cause any symptoms of intoxication. Research into CBD's many health benefits is only in its infancy but the exponentially rising number of studies showing several positive effects for a multitude if illnesses and ailments is mind boggling and cannot be ignored which is why the 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp production federally
