Broken Bolt Garage It’s time to wake up a legend. In this episode of Broken Bolt Garage, we drag home a 1953 Willys Jeep that’s been sitting for who knows how long… and start figuring out what we actually got ourselves into. This isn’t a polished restoration shop build. This is real garage work. Real problems. And projects that fight back. In Part 1 we: • Unload the Willys and go through the pile of parts • Inspect the overall condition (rust, damage, surprises) • Tear into the oil filter housing for cleaning • Move it into position so we can actually work on it • Lube the cylinders and try to rotate the motor • Inspect the engine bay and front end • Clean up the starter wiring and attempt first electrical steps • Remove fenders and pull the radiator for better access This is just the beginning. The goal? Get this 1953 Willys running again and decide how far we’re taking the build. Will it stay original? Will it get upgraded? First… let’s see if the motor even turns. If you like old iron, revivals, and honest garage builds — you’re in the right place. Chapters 00:00-00:39 – Welcome to the 1953 Willys Revival Intro to the newest project at Broken Bolt Garage.
