This Russian Imperial Stout comes in at 12.5% ABV and poured a jet black color, with a beautiful dark khaki head that hung around for ages. The nose was dark chocolate, roasty malt and tiny hint of fruitiness. The body on this is what all stouts should aspire to live up to, it was full, rich and magnificent. We picked up dark chocolate with sweetness and bitterness working together, as well as some light fruitiness. This was complex and hid the ABV well, as there was no noticeable burn.
