Natasha Ednan-Laperouse was on a dream trip to Nice with her best friend and her father when she ate a sandwich laced with sesame seeds not listed on the label. Her father Nadim filmed her on the BA flight smiling with her thumbs up and showing her newly painted white nails just before takeoff. Minutes into the flight she complained of a sore throat, her body became covered in hot red blisters and she suffered the cardiac arrest she could never recover from. Today Pret was shamed by coroner Dr Sean Cummings who blasted their 'inadequate' packaging and said Natasha was falsely 'reassured' by wrappers and store signs at Heathrow Terminal 5. Her father Nadim sobbed as coroner Dr Cummings said the food giant store did not think monitoring potentially fatal food allergens was 'something to be taken seriously'. Afterwards, with her brother Alex clutching a picture of his sister outside West London Coroner's Court, Mr Ednan-Laperouse said: 'If Pret was following the law - then the law was playing Russian Roulette with my daughter's life'.
