In the western part of Beijing, Fangshan District, there is a famous mountain highway: Hongjing Road. It starts from Honggang Village in Shidu Township and ends at Jing'eryu Village in Xiayunling Township on National Highway G108. The beautiful scenery along the way, is one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Beijing, and a paradise for driving and riding enthusiasts. Drive uphill along Hongjing Road and descend along Dongtaiping Road, a branch road on the west side of the road, after reaching the top of the mountain. This road is one of the most important rural roads in western Beijing. The whole journey is downhill, overlooking the towering peaks, steep cliffs and terraced fields.
