Ross, MD, FACS, a Patient Preferred Surgeon for upper gastrointestinal benign and malignant diseases as well as pancreatic and biliary cancers representing the state of Florida. With nearly two decades of achievements in her field, Dr. Ross serves patients at the Digestive Health Institute in Tampa, FL and is a Professor of Surgery at University of Central Florida. She is also the director of the Advanced GI and HPB Surgery Fellowship at the Digestive Health Institute, which trains new surgeons to master minimally invasive single site laparoscopic and robotic complex surgery. Highly skilled in advanced foregut and HPB surgery, Dr. Ross specializes in robotic and single incision laparoscopic operations and is one of the few surgeons in the United States to offer patients robotic complex abdominal operations for esophageal, stomach, small bowel, pancreatic, liver, and gallbladder cancers. Dr. Ross is also one of the first surgeons in the United States to offer laparoscopic single site (LESS) surgery and has been instrumental in developing new techniques to improve the safety of the application.
