Indian Economic Updates :Export Promotion Mission, Bharat Trade Net to Boost MSME Exports, Cut Trade Costs The budget proposes an Export Promotion Mission with an outlay of ₹2,250 crore to support MSMEs, enhance export credit access, and tackle non-tariff barriers in overseas markets. It will be jointly driven by the ministries of commerce, MSME, and finance. Additionally, the launch of BharatTradeNet , a digital public infrastructure platform under India Stack, aims to streamline trade documentation and financing by integrating customs, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Goods and Services Tax Network, banks, and exporters, reducing paper-based processes and trade costs. Recognized as the fourth engine of development, BharatTradeNet will align with international practices and complement the Unified Logistics Interface Platform.
