It's the season finale weekend for Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) and the Ligier JS F4 Series (JS F4) as they take on Circuit of The Americas! 🏁 Just two weeks after the stars of Formula 1 took on COTA for the USGP, these up-and-coming racers from the beginning steps on America's Road to F1 take on the same twists and turns while we race toward the final checkered flag of the season. FR Americas driver Landan Matriano Lim joins Jonathan Green & Ben Cissell to call the race from COTA. There's a championship on the line with mere points separating the leaders in both field. In F4 U.S., just 5.5 points separate current points leader Nicolas Stati and second-place Daniel Quimby in a battle of Aussie vs Aussie. Quimby has momentum on his side after sweeping the weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park during the series' last outing, but Stati has been consistent all year, podiuming in nine of the 11 races to date, and never finishing outside the top five. In JS F4, the battle is just as tight, with only 4.5 separating the top two drivers. Second-year racer Kekai Hauanio currently leads the standings with rookie Teddy Musella hot in his tracks. With Hauanio's four wins this season bettering Musella's three, it's actually fourth-place driver Brad Majman who carries the most momentum into the season finale after sweeping the weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park during the series' last outing. Don't count out third-place Bacon Zelenka who's looking for his third win of the season, or drivers like Uruguayan Maite Cáceres or Illinois native Drew Szuch. Don't forget to tune back in tomorrow at 8:40 a.m. for our final race of the season! Enjoy all the action from the COTA SpeedTour with SpeedTour TV broadcasting the races all weekend from F4 U.S., JS F4, Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), the Trans Am Series, Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), International GT (IGT) & Prototype Sprint Series Association (PSSA).
