It gets a revised fascia that includes a large apron and all-LED headlight with LED DRLs that has been inspired from the Aprilia RS 660. The Aprilia maxi-scooter gets additional features such as a large LCD instrument console, single-channel ABS and a larger 7-litre fuel tank. Aprilia has announced pricing for the new SXR 160, by launching it at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). It carries a premium of around Rs 23,000 over the SR 160, making it one of the most expensive scooters on sale in India. The Aprilia SXR 160 doesn’t have any direct rival and the Suzuki Burgman Street comes close.
