Fretless Bass: Fodera Emperor Bolt-On (Custom) 5 String

After building two other Foderas, this fretless bass was the culmination of things that I'd learned in the previous build processes. In the end, I got a wonderful custom fretless Fodera Emperor Bolt-on 5 String. This bass has a roasted Butternut body, golden Amboyna Burl top, 3pc roasted maple neck, Ebony fingerboard, and is outfitted with the Fodera/Duncan Dual Coils and the custom preamp with the 3 band EQ. Sadly, there's no Newborn Gallery Link for this one, due to the fact that Fodera was not doing the gallery at the time. About the sound examples: These sounds were recorded direct, into a Focusrite Clarett with minimal processing. I did this in order to present what I think is the most uncolored tone of the instrument. For those that are going to ask: These strings are Elixir Nanowebs, Nickel, 45-130 and they were a year and two months old at the time of recording.
