Athens Hop On Hop Off Bus. Is It Worth it?

Is the Hop On Hop Off Bus worth it in Athens, Greece? It had been 5 years since we last tried a Hop On Hop Off bus and we decided to give it another try. The bus has 3 lines that cover basically all the areas a tourist could want to see however there is so much traffic that the bus takes longer than walking. Most attractions are in a small radius of each other and easy to find. The bus was also very hot and uncomfortable. We ended up walking most of the day so for us we don’t think it was worth it.
