LG 49" TV Has Lines But NO PICTURE? Girl Fixes with Heat Gun - Amazing Result! A customer brought me this LG 49-inch TV. The screen had two vertical lines - but almost NO PICTURE at all. Just a blank screen with a few lines. 📺😕 Most people would say this TV is dead. But I knew there was hope! Step 1: Finding the Problem (Isolation Method) I opened the TV and used a simple technique to find which side was causing the issue: 🔹 First test: I disconnected the left cable from the screen. Result: Still no picture. 🔹 Second test: Reconnected the left cable, then disconnected the right cable. Result: HALF the screen appeared on the LEFT side! What this told me: The RIGHT side of the screen has a short circuit. It was pulling down the whole picture! Step 2: The Fix - Removing Resistors on the TAB On the right side of the screen, there's a small circuit board (called the TAB) attached to the glass. I used my heat gun to carefully remove two rows of resistors on the outer edge of the right TAB. This disconnects the damaged part of the screen completely. Step 3: Testing the Result After removing the resistors, I closed everything up and turned on the TV. The result: The TV works perfectly again! Full picture, no lines, bright and clear! ✨ Why this works: The right side of the screen had a short circuit that was killing the entire picture. By removing those resistors, I disconnected the shorted section. The rest of the screen works great! The Best Part: ✅ No expensive parts needed ✅ Just a heat gun and steady hands ✅ Saved a TV that looked completely dead ✅ Customer saved hundreds of dollars Have you ever seen a TV with no picture but some lines?
