Marking a decade of success of the Telford Land Deal

Today we shared with Cabinet the significant achievements delivered over ten years of the Telford Land Deal, a unique partnership between Telford & Wrekin Council and Homes England that has reinvested land receipts back into the Borough. Since 2015, the Deal has helped unlock over 60 sites, support local business growth which in turn has delivered nearly 2500 new jobs, attract high‑value investment and accelerate the delivery of 1583 new homes and over 2 million sqft of employment space. This work has strengthened local supply chains, boosted our economy and supported our long‑term strategy to Protect, Care and Invest in creating a better Borough. Over the last decade, the Telford Land Deal has delivered major results for Telford, including new skilled job opportunities, high‑quality housing developments, modern commercial sites, and investment in infrastructure across key locations such as Hortonwood, T54, Ni.PARK and Halesfield.
