How To Remove Or Replace Steering Wheel On Honda Accord 2003-2007 | Auto Repair DIY Install Guide

This video is a step-by-step or tutorial guide on how to remove, replace, upgrade and/or install a steering wheel on Honda Accord years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 DX LX or EX models 2.4L or 3.0L V6 by young mechanic Aiman. The steps are actually not too difficult, only a few basic tools are required but if you are not too comfortable dealing with airbags then you should consult or have it repaired by qualified automotive technicians or auto repair shops and garages or auto dealership. Some of the tools you might need would be flat head & phillip screwdrivers, T30 star / torx wrenches and basic sockets / ratchet. No power tools are required. Most of the electrical connectors can be unsnapped easily. Word of caution is make sure you disconnect the battery first, wait a few minutes (20 minutes or longer is highly encouraged), and avoid possible static discharge via clothing or other possible methods. Once you unplug the airbag itself, it can't go off. There's a shorting bar built into the connector of all airbags, that joins the two terminals to prevent "stray" voltage from being able to set the bag off. In most cases, once you've removed the airbag and center bolt, the steering wheel can just be wiggled or pulled out.
