PROJECT 1 : BLOW PAINTING Turn acrylic paint into watercolor for this easy artwork. Water down your paints then use a straw to blow them all around the paper. This will create an abstract splatter painting effect that resembles fireworks. Stop here or go a step further by adding a quote or phrase with hand lettering. Choose your favorite font & color it in with a Micron pen, markers, or colored pencils. Display in a frame for a classy, elegant piece of decor PROJECT 2 : YARN WALL ART For this decoration you will need your favorite colors of yarn and a wooden dowel. Cut long pieces of yarn & tie them securely to the wooden stick. This yarn wall hanging is inspired by the 1970s fad, macrame. Such an easy project for kids, but it has an aesthetic appeal that many teens & adults will find beautiful as well.
