In May of 2024 I tried my first ever King's Quest 1-6 speedrun, LIVE. Not trying to set any official records, I didn't practice ahead of the run; I just went by memory to see how well and quickly I could complete my favorite first three quarters of one of my favorite series of all time. It turned out to be a lot of fun and also notable as being the only time we ever genuinely lost power midway through a stream during a bad storm (as you'll see).
