Blender website http://www.blender.org ** No dot on top of wine glass? ** If you are using Blender version 2.63 or later and the top of your wine glass does not have the center point (see video at 5:35) then follow these instructions: 1) On the menu bar below the wine glass there are 3 small buttons that look like cubes. Click on the third button (this button is called "Face select" when you hover your mouse over the button.) The top of the wine glass should now have a single dot. You may need to rotate the wine glass to see it. (press and hold the middle mouse button to rotate the wine glass.) 2) Right click on the dot, on the top of the wine glass, to select it. 3) Press the Delete key on your keyboard and then select Faces. 4) Go back down to the 3 small buttons that look like cubes and click on the first button (this button is called "Vertex select" when you hover your mouse over the button.)
