Full version of the Knightmare theme music brought to you by Cut & Thrust. Just keep telling yourself, it's only a tune, isn't it? Knightmare was a British children's adventure game show, broadcast on ITV (CITV) from 1987 to 1994, in which a team of four children guide one of their members, the 'Dungeoneer' (made blind to their surroundings by wearing the "Helmet of Justice") through puzzles inside the virtual world of Knightmare Castle. The team was assisted by the Dungeon Master (a Saxon Knight named Treguard, played by Hugo Myatt), who would help guide the Dungeoneer and, if things went wrong, explain a team member’s cause of death whenever their game-life ended (ooh, nasty!) The stirring theme tune by Ed Welch more than sets the scene for the animated opening titles of a Knight on horseback, leaping off cliff edges and charging his way through sinister forests to reach Knightmare Castle. For this remix, I’ve used the music from series 2 and 4. No copyright infringement intended. This is a tribute remix born out of my love for the show and childhood memories.
