Surah Baqarah is the 2 chapter of the Holy Quran, consisting of 286 verses (ayat), 40 rukus, and is located in Para 1 - 3. As it is a Madani Surah, and english meaning is “The Cow”. Surah Al-Baqarah is the second and longest chapter of the Qur’an, revealed mainly in Madinah. It serves as a complete guide for faith, worship, law, and moral life, shaping the foundations of an Islamic society. 1.
