✨ On a cold winter’s night, I was rehearsing with my good friend, Aske Fuglsang, with whom I played in a band called Kasír for many years. During a rehearsal we went outside for a break and were instantly taken aback to see a cloudless night sky aglow with a sea of stars. It inspired us, and we went back inside and composed this tune which we recorded for our album “Chilling on a Sunday” a few months later. This arrangement can be found in my book "Celtic Music for Free-Bass Accordion", which provides you with original arrangements of 11 popular songs and slow airs from Ireland and Scotland, as well as four of my own compositions. Some arrangements solely feature the free-bass system while others combine both free-bass and Stradella bass. This gives the player more options for varying the sound and developing the arrangement.
