PIMP-SAN - restored 1978 record-breaking Japanese radio hit

Presented here for the first time in the West is the bonus track previously available only in the Japanese edition of the funk music album SONGS THAT PACK A PUNCH. The album was released in Japan two years after the original, in 1978, with the title RE:FUNK 1.0*√3:SONGS THAT BOW INFORMALLY AT ABOUT A 15° ANGLE WHILE MAINTAINING EYE CONTACT WITH SEMPAI, designed by the record label to better suit local sensibilities and tastes. In 1982, following the great reception of the album, a successful children’s animated series titled: "You’re Strong, PIMP-SAN!" was created based on it. Apparently, the band never received any royalties, and rumors suggest that the numerous heirs (currently residing in Japan) are still in a legal dispute with the animation studio to be recognized as the rightful inheritors of the rights to use their ancestor’s iconic image (which, ironically enough, is almost identical to their own appearance).
