This music video tells the story of our son Liam's birth and early life. Liam was born in AZ Jan Portaels hospital, Vilvoorde, Belgium at 16:39 on 27 December 2018 by emergency caesarean following a series of medical care errors. He had suffered a severe brain injury during his birth. Following resuscitation he was rushed to the Neonatology Intensive Care Unit of UZ Jette where he underwent a special cooling therapy to try to preserve the unharmed parts of his brain. Subsequent MRIs, ECGs and other tests confirmed the damage to both the central part and cortex of his brain. This song, performed by both of his mothers, was written before his birth and took on a profound meaning when Liam started to confound all medical professionals by meeting his development milestones and showing us all that there is more to believe in than science.
