Patrick Head, Co-founder, Williams F1 and Williams Hybrid, delivered a keynote presentation on the role of innovation in motor sport at the Investing in Future Transport conference held at City Hall, London, on 16 August 2012. The session addressed new technologies in fields such as fuel efficiency emerging from sports including Formula 1 racing. It also looked at the role of dedicated 'zero emissions' racing events such as the Isle of Man TTZero and the TTXGP - and the implications for investment. Joining the panel with Patrick Head were Javier de Rocafort, Quimera Project/Balmoral Capital, Azhar Hussain, founder and CEO of the TTXGP World Championship, and Courtenay Heading, Isle of Man Government.
