The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows: Fog is blanketing the Highveld, Gauteng, the Bushveld, and surrounding areas this morning, with mist also affecting parts of the Free State, the Karoo, and the Namakwa region. Only isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern parts of the country today, while most other regions remain dry. Looking ahead, a cold front is forecast to reach the south-west by Wednesday evening, bringing light showers to the area.
