Long term opinion of Sidi Canyon boots

So it occurred to me that, unlike some folks, i don't complain about my feet when i ride. My boots keep me warm, dry, and , at times, cool. They allow me to ride in comfort all day long, and walk all evening when i arrive at my destination. I have it good, since many people search in vain for years for bike boots that are, at the very least, not painful to wear on even short rides. I bit the bullet 7 years ago and bought a pair of Sidi Canyon boots. I had great experience with their cycling shoes, so I thought that quality would carry over to the motorcycle side, and was i right! Sidi is famed for having that "broken in" comfort right out of the box, and these boots are no exception. The premium price tag is due, in part , because of the GoreTex. I was never wowed by GoreTex until recent purchases, and now, i don't think i could do without it on my all-weather gear. These boots still , to this day, remain truly waterproof. They have seen strictly road work, but are showing their wear. I am so pleased that when they fail, I will be ordering another pair.
