This video describes how to write a homeschool program for the year. Following videos will show you how to create a syllabus for each class. There will also be a video at some point on how to write the year end assessment based on this important document. In the video I said I would add a sample at the end. I will instead add a link here in a google document that you can copy and adjust for your own needs!! FYI. For each subject it should basically ready as follows: FOR AN OUTSIDE CLASS: SUBJECT: [CHILD'S NAME] will be participating in [NAME OF PROGRAM] for [subject] program. This year we are studying [NAME TOPICS HERE]. [INSERT CLASS SYNOPSIS FROM HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM HERE] [INCLUDE TEXTS AND TIME IN CLASS] EXAMPLE: HISTORY: ....will be participating in Hazelwood Prep homeschool history program. This year we are studying Ancient Times. We will be taking a scientific approach to exploring the Ancient Times and how archeology constantly changes what we know. Reading materials and videos will be assigned each week in addition to 3 hour zoom sessions on Thursdays. FOR A CLASS USING A TEXT THAT YOU WILL FOLLOW: SUBJECT: This year we will cover [LIST TOPICS ]. The Text(s) will be [LIST TEXTBOOK(S). EXAMPLE: Science: This year we will cover scientific theory, and the basics of how things work.
