Matt DiMaggio PhD is one of the leading experts on the aqua-culturing of marine fish for the aquarium hobby. Just a few years ago, all of the marine fish available for our aquariums came from the ocean. In recent years, however dozens of species have become available from breeders who have been able to spawn and raise fish in captivity. It's happening so fast, that many people do not realize where we've been and where we are going. In this video, Matt traces the history of the success of captive breeding and suggests what is next for the hobby and the industry.
