In this video I walk through the full arc of On-Board Vehicle Power — from two Humvees towing generators in the 90s, through a decade of bolt-on dead ends, to the TIG: a permanent magnet machine integrated into the Allison 3000 transmission with zero change to drivetrain footprint. 30kW mobile, 120kW stationary. Now fielded by the Army as Vehicle Integrated Power Kits on Strykers, MRAPs, and more.
