I Rented A Fire lookout! Breathtaking VIEWS!

At an elevation of 6,500ft, I was in awe of such spectacular views all around me! Tonight, I will be solo overnight camping in a fire lookout. The adventure began at the bottom of the mountain. A twelve-mile forest road to the top with sharp curves and large boulders proved to be a challenge to summit. After an hour and forty-five minutes of off-roading, I finally made it! The fire tower sat atop buckhorn ridge and stood 26ft above the ground. The wind was heavy at the time but slowly dissipated as the night drew on. After carrying my gear up and down the fire lookout I was exhausted and ready to relax. The sunset was awe-inspiring! One of the best I've witnessed. Once the sun went down it was time to cook. A four-course meal fit for a king! In the morning, I witnessed an extraordinary sunrise. With a 360 view of the horizon, I had the best seat in the house! I will never forget this experience and am so thankful I was able to capture it all on film for others to enjoy! Want to rent a fire lookout?
