Ohio State Football: Archie Griffin Honored With Statue At Ohio Stadium

The only two-time Heisman Trophy winner in college football history is going to be honored - twice - this weekend by his alma mater.  Archie Griffin, who won the 1974 and 1975 Heisman Trophies while playing tailback for Woody Hayes at Ohio State, was back at the Horseshoe on Friday for the unveiling of a brand-new statue.  It sits just outside the north rotunda of the stadium, and depicts Griffin stiff-arming a defender.  Then, on Saturday, Griffin will receive the rare honor of dotting the I in Script Ohio at halftime of the Buckeyes' season-opening game against Akron.  In this episode of the Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning podcast, you'll hear from Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and athletic director Ross Bjork about Griffin and his legacy, before hearing directly from Griffin about the honors being bestowed upon him this weekend.  Check out BuckeyeHuddle.com to get all of the best Ohio State Buckeyes coverage.
