The freezing temperatures caused the main water pump in the village to freeze and break, leaving us with no choice but to fetch water from the local spring. However, since the spring was very crowded and we didn’t have permission to film there, we couldn’t capture that part on video. My brother had to make multiple trips carrying water in plastic containers so we could cook today’s meal. Despite the challenges, the result was a delicious and unique rice dish with minced lamb—a recipe I’m sure you’ve never tried before!
