The size of the sebaceous gland increases in size because of pressure of the stagnated sebum that is secreted by the oil in the skin gland. It becomes like a cheesy a material inside the sac. So you have to remove both the cheesy aerial and the scar. If you leave the sac again there is a chance of sebaceous cyst recurrence. So we make a small nick and we remove all the cheesy material, sometimes it can be grey. Sometimes it can be creamish, depress it and empty the sac and through that 3 mm hole w e invert the sac, we catch hold the base of the sac and dissect all around, so than the sac is removed. At the end a dark kind of scar can be there of 2 to 3 mm. With time it is hardly noticeable with the socializing distance. #SebaceousCyst
