It's a head wrap ear muff. Using seed stitch it give this a nice done up look, while still being really easy to make. The simple twist makes it elegant. Hope you guys enjoy. Items: Boye Aluminum Double Pointed Needles Size 7(4.5mm) Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Medium Blue (1 ball will do) Tapestry Needle Scissors Size: The instructions are written for adult size 21", but this pattern can easily be made smaller or bigger. Just add or take away some inches in the first and last seed stitch section. Instructions: Cast on 22 sts Row 1: *K1, P1; rep from * across. Row 2: *P1, K1; rep from * across. Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until piece measures 8". Work across 11 sts, keeping the remaining 11 sts on a needle or holder. Continue your seed stitch pattern for 5" Place your stitches on a holder or extra needle and repeat with the other 11 sts. Taking the left section of your 11 sts and continuing in your seed stitch pattern, once to the end work the other section, crossing your flaps. Continue in seed stitch for 8". Wrap should then measure 21". Sew back seam and enjoy. Abbreviations: k = knit p = purl st (s) = stitches = these indicate where repeats in the pattern start
