If you are doing a low kill game and want to get to the sword card early, then simply acquire the Shield Rod and Knight Shield in the Colosseum and execute the combo move while back-dashing into the doorway. Once the screen flicker is initiated, just hold right on the d-pad. To actually reach the room with the sword card, you will need to use the wolf rise trick, and having the Form of Mist relic makes this trick much easier.
