Making Manure Tea for your Pastures and Garden

We mentioned manure tea in our cover crop update video, which led to a ton of questions. So, we decided to show how we make a low cost, organic fertilizer using cow manure from a friend's farm. We mixed the cow manure with water and activated a bubbler for a few days to get the microbes alive and kicking. We then strain it into our sprayer and utilize the natural fertilizer in our pastures. And guess what ... It works! This is one of the many ways we are able to avoid putting synthetic fertilizer on our pastures and adding to our soil in the best way possible for healthy animals and food.
