I try building Enderman Houses without killing the Ender Dragon. A pacifist run in Minecraft, but of a different design so to speak. Also a decent guide on how not to kill the ender dragon, or why you should obviously kill it before building anything in the End. It was honestly a lot of fun despite what all the cursing and mild raging implied. I like making cities and towns in Minecraft. First time doing a challenge of this sort though. I could have built on the edges of the central isle to make it less likely the dragon would destroy the buildings, but where’s the fun in that? Hardly funny and crazy if it’s not difficult. This is a variety channel based on comedy after all. I fell back onto a cookie cutter design for the build. I usually do survival builds on a 5x5 wall basis, but I upgraded it to 8 x 5 because the Endermen are rather tall and need space inside their home bases. With a roof, that meant they were easy for the Ender dragon to run into so making them taller would’ve been impossible. Definitely an idea for future challenges though! Also picked the materials like blackstone bricks and granite so I could spend less time mucking around and more time recording the real meat and potatoes. I didn’t design anything beforehand. I just filled a storeroom with every block, grabbed a bunch, and just set off to do my business. No sense wasting time if the whole idea is to make a town so I just skipped past the needless grind of materials. No need for that. Also made sure it wasn’t in hardcore mode (but was definitely on hard) to increase the possibility of repeated funny moments. Add on the idea I’m not allowed to hurt, attack, harm, kill, or do anything to the Enderdragon except yell at it and I felt like it was a fair recipe for chaos and 2021 stress relief. Plus I got to create something so that’s always a plus for me! On the back end though, I’m fed up with OBS studios’ RNN filter. It was bearable on other games where I Wasn’t giving excited reactions but my ridiculous dynamic range is causing it to trigger every other second and cut out lots of my reactions. There’s always something to go wrong isn’t there? I’ll have to look into other stuff like reaper plugins. DatXDiver Builds Series (DD Builds): A funny and episodic variety Let’s Play series. From challenges to ridiculous prompts, I build whatever the hell I feel like in any game with palpable construction flexibility or sandbox options. The best funny moments will be presented in a narrative fashion to keep things fluid. The game library will vary and change, but comedy episodes for Planet Coaster, Besiege, Planet Zoo, Minecraft, Rimworld, Stonehearth, City Skylines, and even a rare IRL craft (Warhammer, Lego, etc.) are all fair game.
