Best Western Plus Hotel Bern. A Nice Hotel In The Old Town of Bern, Switzerland.

A part of my 2 week rail journey across Europe during the Christmas market season, I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Old Town Bern, Switzerland. Just about a 10 minute walk from the Bern Train Station to the Hotel in the middle of the Old Town (Altstadt). Best Western Hotels in Europe have long been a favorite of mine in Europe due to their lower prices and comfortable accommodations. Even though Best Westerns have recently upgraded their hotels in the U.S., they've always been better in Europe. The rooms are definitely smaller but so very clean and comfortable. The Best Western Plus Hotel Bern even has a rooftop bar and restaurant offering beautiful outdoor views of the city of Bern. On the ground floor,Restaurant Volkshaus 1914 is a local favorite, serving local cuisine, and has a great breakfast.
