LECTURE PURPOSE This lecture was conducted by the Priest and Bishop of the Brisbane Liberal Catholic Church, Right Pastor Geoff Dargie and Bishop Graham Preston who have between them served for over 150 years in clerical service to the Liberal Catholic Church. Linked to the Theosophical Society since 1918, the Liberal Catholic Church is the product of founding theosophists CW Leadbeater and James Wedgewood. The church’s unique symbolism and Eucharist service, is a result of the founders’ knowledge, connections and clairvoyance. BIOGRAPHY OF OUR SPEAKERS “Micheal and Graham Preston (twins) were both teachers and I (Geoff Dargie) was in the TV business. We attended Young Theosophists (YT) and church weekly in our late teens in the 1960s. From the 1970’s the three of us took the church role seriously. We have all been priests in the church and in Graham's case a bishop, as well as work for a living and raise families - 10 children between us.” Geoff Dargie
