Hey everyone, thank you SO MUCH for checking out this video! This is a production from myself and the crew at @307Reacts. We stumbled across @TheDooo during one of our reactions, and I was incredibly inspired. Not only can the guy shred like crazy, play an endless plethora of songs, and convince total strangers to protect him while he plays requests in Black Ops 2, but he's also incredibly creative, and his song-writing is next-to-none. After hearing Ascend, it instantly got stuck in my head, and for the following week, I streamed it at least 50 times. I studied the play style, the articulation, but mostly, being a drummer, I couldn't get past the "808" style drum backing. The song called for a much heavier, more realistic sounding drum kit. Or, at least, that's what my inner punk-rocker told me... So, I took it upon myself to feed the inspiration, set up the kit, and make the version in my head come to life.
