Want flaperons on your airplane? Me too! In this video I'll show you how I set up two-position flaperons on the Flysky FS-i6X radio and FS-iA6B receiver. It's a bit of a process, but I think the end result is pretty sweet. (If you know of a simpler way, please let us know!) FS-i6X: https://amzn.to/2W2CfNH In case you don't need the step-by-step version, I've written down the key info below (let me know if you find something that doesn't make sense!): *******FS-i6X FLAPERONS SETUP GUIDE:******** 👉 Remove propeller(s) 👉 Bind tx/rx (if not already done) 👉 Plug servo into Ch1 👉 Plug other servo into Ch5 (or whichever open servo channel you want to use. For this example I'm using channel 5) (my servos are each pointing out away from the fuselage) 👉 Reverse Ch1 SERVO as needed to achieve normal aileron movement for that servo. (roll right, control surface goes up) HOLD CANCEL TO SAVE. 👉 Turn on Aux Channels (in system settings menu) . HOLD CANCEL TO SAVE. 👉 Set Ch7 (AUX 7) to SW C (the 3-position switch). HOLD CANCEL TO SAVE. 👉 Make sure Ch5 SOURCE is set to NONE (because that's the channel for the servo) 👉 👉 Set MIX 1 (Ch1 controls ch5) (this mix is to make the servos function as normal ailerons) Master: Ch1 Slave: Ch5 Pos. Mix: -100% Neg. Mix -100% Offset: 0% 👉 👉 Set MIX 2 (Ch 7 Controls Ch1) Master: Ch7 Slave: Ch1 Pos. Mix: -40% Neg. Mix: -40% Offset: -15% 👉 👉 Set MIX 3 (Ch7 controls Ch5) Master: Ch7 Slave: Ch5 Pos. Mix: -40% Neg. Mix: -40% Offset: -15% 👉 Hold CANCEL to SAVE 👉 Check for correct movement 👉 Adjust percentages as needed to make physical aileron deflection and neutral positions match each other 👉 Done 👉 Set up other control surfaces, failsafe, throttle hold, etc. as needed. 👌 * * * * * * * Hope this helped!
